Before the numbers, what you are paying for
There are cheaper ways to produce a certificate. What you are paying FLOS for is everything that happens before one gets issued.
Compliance status is worked out from your records rather than typed in by whoever is closing the job. Planned maintenance that starts slipping shows up while you can still do something about it. Defects are created by the inspection itself, with the severity taken from the clause that failed, instead of being remembered afterwards. And a certificate will not issue while a critical defect is open, with no override, for anyone, including you.
What every seat includes
No modules, no upgrade path, no feature gates inside your edition.

When the client portal ships, read only access for your clients will be free and unlimited. Charging a building owner to look at their own compliance evidence is not something we are going to do.
Two seat types, and that is the whole model
Office seat
Coordinators, managers, anyone running the work from a desk.
Engineer seat
Anyone capturing evidence in the field.
Engineer seats are deliberately cheaper. If licensing your engineers is expensive you ration the licences, and the moment you ration them the evidence stops being captured at source. That breaks the thing FLOS exists to do, so we priced it so you never have to think about it.

Getting started
Onboarding is a real piece of work and we charge for it. Configuring your standards, loading your sites and assets, setting up your PPM schedules, and one training session with your team.

We are telling you about the increase in advance rather than springing it on you later. If you are going to do this, doing it now is cheaper, and that is deliberate.
Founding partners
We are taking five. Three things come with it.
- A lower rate, fixed for the life of your licence. Not a first year discount. The rate you sign at is the rate you keep, adjusted annually at CPI and capped at 5 per cent. That is Golden Thread at £61 office and £32 engineer, or Full Platform at £72 and £38.
- Onboarding waived. All of it.
- Real influence over what gets built. Two roadmap sessions a year with the two people building it, and first access to anything new.
In return we ask for a 24 month commitment, and for permission to talk about what we learn together once you are happy with it.
Once the five places are filled, standard pricing applies and onboarding goes to £900.
Who this is not for
If you are one or two people and the job is getting certificates out faster, there are cheaper tools that do that well and you should use one. FLOS carries a £250 monthly minimum and an onboarding fee because setting it up properly takes real work, and at that size you would be paying for control you do not need yet.
FLOS starts to make sense when you have several engineers, more sites than you can hold in your head, and clients who audit you.
About these prices
These are introductory prices. FLOS is new, we are building the evidence base with our first customers, and the price reflects that. It will rise once that evidence exists. If you are one of the five founding partners that does not affect you, because your rate is fixed.
